National University Virtual High School (NUVHS) is now enrolling for the fall 2009 term. NUVHS offers over 80 first and second semester courses year-round, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as electives. All courses accessible 24 hours a day and are instructor led by California credentialed teachers.
With open enrollment and flexible scheduling options, students can enroll part time to complete specific courses and supplement their high school coursework, or they can enroll full-time and earn an accredited high school diploma through NUVHS.
NUVHS is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). NUVHS core courses are approved for initial eligibility certification by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and all NUVHS Advanced Placement courses have been reviewed and re-authorized by the College Board. NUVHS has received "online provider status" through the University of California and has receive approval for multiple courses as meeting the UC "a-g" requirements.
NUVHS is also pleased to add eight additional courses to its foreign language offerings. Students may now enroll in the following foreign languages: Spanish, Persian, and Arabic.
