Calling all delegates, calling all delegates NUVHS needs you to help represent the North American region for the Online Model United Nations!
NUVHS is proud to announce the establishment of a new student club and we want you to join us! As our club is conducted entirely online, we will also be affiliated with O-MUN which is a global Online Model United Nations club that is committed to engaging students from all around the world in the process of collaborative problem solving and consensus building.
So ask yourself these questions…
• Do you have previous experience participating in Model United Nations debates or would you like to experience what it is like to participate in Model United Nations debates?
• What if you could debate with students from around the United States and even students in other countries from around the world about some of the most pressing problems our world is facing?
• Would you like develop your leadership and communication skills, while making connections with fellow students around the world?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then O-MUN is the club for you.
Our goal for O-MUN is to create a world community where students can take advantage of the advances in technology to work with students from diverse backgrounds who are separated by vast distances and academically debate issues that are impacting us all.
